Raymond Peterson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away September 20, 2025, in Harrison, Arkansas at the age of 93. He was born March 12, 1932, in Kennedy, New York, the son of Elmer and Ernestine Peterson. He married Joyce Romine on March 29, 1958, in St. Joseph, Michigan and was a mechanical engineer. He attended the LeTourneau Technical Institute in Longview, Texas. He also had a bachelor of science and a Master of Divinity from the Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado. He spent many years as a missionary. Raymond lived in Mountain Home since moving from Denver, Colorado, in 1999. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flippin.
Raymond is survived by his son, Stephen (Patricia) Peterson of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Deborah (Aaron) Frank of Westminster, CO; three grandchildren, Vanessa, Emily, and Phoenix; two brothers, Ronald Peterson and David Peterson; and sister, Joyce Eaton. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two brothers, John Peterson and Gene Peterson.
A Graveside Funeral Service for Raymond will be 2:30 pm, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the Green Burial Section at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
