He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Laura, his Wife Terry Lee Postlethwait, Son Anthony Lee Postlethwait, Brothers Bobby and Jackie Postlethwait

Art spent his life on his terms, doing what he loved. His Boys and Rodeo were his whole life. He could have written a novel from the adventures he spent a lifetime creating. Like the time he ran away to join the Diamond S Wild West Show, which jump started his love of all things rodeo. Also, bringing 10 (which turned into 100) head of horses to Salt Fork Resort for people to ride where he made a lifelong friendship with Carl LaRue. Art enjoyed making hay in the hayfields, caring for his horses and other various animals, including an elephant at one time, taking people on Carriage rides through town, riding his beloved horse Skyrocket at the Living Word as a Roman Soldier, and most of all spending time with his family. Art retired as a Lineman for the IBEW.

He will be forever known as the Guernsey County Cowboy
