Raymond Walker Pyron Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on June 12th, 2023 in Visalia. He was born on December 18th, 1953 in Arkansas to his mother Helen Crumby and father Raymond Walker Pyron Sr.
Raymond had an impressive military service history. He served in the United States Army for almost 17 years and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. His dedication to his country earned him numerous awards including the Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and Expert Badge with Rifle Component Bar.
However, Raymond's dedication didn't stop there. He was a beloved member of the Central Valley Prospectors for twelve years where he bonded with fellow members over their shared love of gold mining. It is no surprise that Raymond had such a wonderful community surrounding him given his kind and generous nature.
Outside of his remarkable community involvement and military service history, Raymond also cherished his family. He leaves behind his wife Beverly Pyron who he shared a beautiful life with; they created a wonderful family together. Their daughter Pauline Pyron filled their lives with joy along with their daughter Lisa Morrill and son Jeremy Pyron Quintero and daughter-in-law Tenaya Quintero who have continued Raymond's legacy by exemplifying his kindness towards others. Raymond lived long enough to see the birth of his grandson Ryder Quintero who brought even more light into their lives along with granddaughter Maya Morrill whose arrival brought delight to her grandfather.
Raymond loved life dearly; he enjoyed being outdoors wherever possible from searching for gold with his buddies to hiking with his family. Although he will be deeply missed by family and friends alike during this time of mourning we celebrate the life that was lived before us.
There will be a memorial service held at Evangel Bible Church located at 180 N Villa Ave in Dinuba. The service will take place on June 16th, 2023, at 11:00 am. Raymond will be remembered fondly by his family and friends who were fortunate enough to share such a significant moment with him in this life.
