Robert enjoyed the beauty of God's creation around him, as he loved to care for plants and flowers. Robert lived in Sultana, California, at the time of his passing.
Robert is survived by his partner, Tanislao Alvarez, brother Jerry Alvarez, and sisters Janie Vasquez, Yolanda Estrada, and Dalia Alvarez. Robert has joined his grandparents Jose and Juana Alvarez, who raised him along with his aunts and uncles. Prior to passing, Robert said he lived a very happy life with them and was grateful for all of the their love. Robert also joined his immediate family members who passed before him; his Father Francisco Alvarez, mother Amparo Alvarez Montez, siblings Frank Alvarez, Catalina Pedroza, and Susie Soria.
