Raymond Redhead

Raymond Redhead, age 77, was born October 12, 1947, and went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025, after passing away unexpectedly.

He received an associate's degree in marketing in 1982, Peace Officer Training as a Security Guard at his Church and did Tool and Die as well as Machinist training at Practical Machine. His career as a machinist was with Goodyear Aerospace, Loral Aircraft and Braking Systems. Raymond was fond of hunting, fishing and loved being the ticket taker at Barberton High School. He attended the Grace Church in Norton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ann. Raymond is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon; his children: Beth Ann, Kevin and Jason (Tara); his siblings: Kathleen and Russ (Tina); his nine grandchildren: Jenna (Beau), Andrew, Maddie, Dean, Trey, Kylee, Annabelle, Brycen and Sawyer; his two great grandchildren: Everett and Harper; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as family and treasured friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Church, Norton Campus, 3970 Cleveland Massillon Road, Norton, Ohio 44203. Interment will be located at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320.
