Stephen Roycutt Redhead, affectionately known as "Papa Roy", was born in St. Davids, Grenada on January 17, 1956, to the late Cyril Redhead and Marie Dora Redhead.
Stephen graduated from St. Dominic's R. C. School in St. Davis, Grenada. Desiring greater opportunity, Stephen migrated to the United States of America in 1990, joining his wife Grace who had migrated some years earlier to start a foundation for the family. Stephen became a United States citizen in 2005.
Stephen long held a fascination and love for cars. His passion fueled his profession, as he worked over 40 years in the Auto-Mechanic industry. His professional life flourished as a Mechanic at Tristate Collision Center in Columbia, MD. He was known by colleagues and customers alike as one of the BEST mechanics there was. He could simply listen to a noise coming from your vehicle and tell you exactly what the problem was.
"Papa Roy" was also known as the life of the party! Regardless of what was going on, he always had the time and energy to entertain everyone.
Stephen leaves to mourn, his wife Grace Redhead, his children Sharon Mcwatt, Richard Redhead, Rhonda Williams, Geraldo Redhead and Gary Redhead, and grandchildren; Raquel Williams, Rickiesha Lewis, Alisha Maloney, Tinashe McIntosh, Murice McWatt, Talayia Oliver, Mya Mcwatt, and Isabelle Redhead. He also leaves behind three brothers; John Redhead, Jeffrey Redhead, Raymond Redhead and one sister; Sherma Redhead; his oldest surviving aunt Marietta Mitchell, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, son-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins and friends.
