Raymond Lindell Ross, 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He was born on February 19, 1943, in Old Mines, Missouri, to Nelson and Grace Nellie Bourisaw Ross.
He married Helen Jean Lillegard. Raymond worked in construction at Hill Air Force Base.
Raymond enjoyed his family, gardening, raising chickens, listening to country music, and he loved his grandchildren.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Ross; children, RaeJean Ross, Brent Ross, and Annette Ross; grandchildren, Skyler Ross and Jacee Ross; great-grandchildren, Dario Ross and Emberly Ross; brothers, Paul Ross and Clarence Ross; and sisters, Alberta Lewis, Kathy Reary, and Wilma Rolens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Grace Ross; brothers, John Ross, James Ross, Donald Ross, and Dennis Ross; and sisters, Mary Kaufman and Maggie Privette.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
