Raymond A. Rozhon

Raymond A. Rozhon, 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in Christopher, IL. He was born November 29, 1939 in Chicago, IL and had been a Libertyville, IL resident for most of his life. Ray was a United States Navy veteran and retired from Killian Plumbing Company in Lake Forest, IL after 20 years. He also owned & operated Indoor Climate Engineers (ICE) pipe fitter company in Libertyville. Ray was a member of Buckner Village Board and was once very active with the Wilderness Engineering Society for over 25 years with Boy scouts of America and with Camp Makajawan Scout Reservation. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping & scuba diving.
He is survived by 2 sons, Bjorn Rozhon and Nels Rozhon; 2 daughters, Shirley (Michael) Favuzzi & Denise Ashurst; 12 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren and by his brother, George (Leah) Rozhon.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jenny in 2020, by his son, Carl Rozhon in 2006 and daughter, Rae Ann Left Hand Bull in 2013.
A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville.
