Raymond G. Salazar III, affectionately known as Raymie, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, in Bolingbrook, IL at the age of 43. Born on August 17, 1981, Raymie was a beacon of kindness and selflessness touching the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by a family that admired his caring nature: his father, Raymond Salazar Jr., his mother Grace Laubert, stepfather Clayton Laubert, his grandfather Raymond Salazar Sr., grandmother Sulema Salazar, and siblings Rocky (Nikki) Salazar, Andres Salazar, Kristy Laubert, and Clayton Laubert II. Raymie was a beloved uncle to Mia and Jake Salazar, and a cherished nephew and cousin to many. He now joins his late grandfather, Epifanio Garcia and late grandmother, Angelita Garcia, in eternal peace.
A proud alumnus of Bolingbrook High School, Raymie's love for football was only surpassed by his passion for music. His commitment to family was unwavering, particularly in his role as caregiver to his brother Andres, which he undertook with great dedication and love.
Described as loving, thoughtful, and selfless, Raymie's memory will be treasured by those who were fortunate to experience his warmth and generosity. His life was a testament to the power of putting others before oneself, and his spirit will continue to guide and uplift his loved ones.
