Raymond Smidebush Obituary

Raymond was a graduate of Sterling High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran proudly serving in Vietnam.
Raymond is survived by his brother's-in-law Brian (Alice) Arnet and Robert (Susan) Arnet; and sister-in-law Vicky (Brian) Cain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Ellen; brother-in-law, Kevin Arnet; and a sister.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 3500 Washington Street, McHenry, IL. Burial will follow Mass at St. Patrick's Countryside Cemetery, McHenry.
Arrangements were entrusted to Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home. For information call the funeral home at 815-675-0550.
