Raymond C. Staral, 80, of Iola, Wisconsin went to his heavenly home on April 11, 2024. with his family by his side. He was born on May 15, 1943, in Chicago to the late Frank and Dorothy (Ducak) Staral. Raymond married Mary (Matthews) Staral on October 14, 1967, in Waukegan, Illinois. Ray was a hard worker all his life. He co-owned his own trucking company with his brother Dennis. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Mary of 56 years; daughter: Stacy (Rick) Peterson of Iola, and their children: Whitney (Coty) Murphy and Mallory (Jordan Richter) Tomczak; son: Raymond (Shannon) Staral Jr. of Waupaca, and their children: Hannah & Libby; great- grandchildren: Raelynn & Matthew; brother Dennis (Diane) Staral, of Illinois and loving canine companion: Louie, along with other relatives and friends. Raymond was preceded in death by an infant daughter Mellinda Staral; and a brother David Staral. A Funeral Mass for Raymond will be held on Monday, April 15th at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. Father Jerzy Rebacz will officiate along with Deacon Art Schaller. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Amherst.
