Raymond Carl Stiles, Jr., fondly known by many as Husky, was born on November 22, 1953, in Jackson, Michigan. He passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 71. He is survived by his children: son, Jason R. Stiles (wife, Terri Stiles); and three daughters, Angela Cough (Stiles) (husband, Jon Cough), JoAnn Stiles (partner, Anthony Williams), and Angela Henderson. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Brenda Parshall. He will be remembered with love by his siblings: Raylynn Stovall of Lone Star, TX; Carla Stiles (Kirk Van Buren) of Jackson, MI; Al Michael Stiles of Jackson, MI; Tina Maxwell of Jackson, MI; Bertha Floros of Jackson, MI; Phillip Stiles of Jackson, MI; Tammie Welter (Kim Michael Welter) of Advance, MO; Peggie Stiles of Jackson, MI; Jackie Ambs (Rob Ambs) of Lone Star, TX; and Laurie Stiles (Audrey) of Minnesota. Nothing made Raymond smile more than being "Grandpa." He adored Mercadez Powell, Jake and Ayla Stiles, Jaydin Musbach, Nevaeh and Anthony Williams Jr., Culture Henderson, and Ole and Scarlett Ayen, celebrating every milestone and memory with them. He also had many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Raymond enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially fishing. He also lived life with a laid-back spirit - always up for good music, a laugh with family, and, in true Husky fashion, kicking back with his favorite green pastime. A true Michigan Wolverine fan, Raymond never missed a chance to cheer on his team. His passion for the maize and blue will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His legacy lives on through his family, friends, and the traditions he passed down. Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Carl Stiles, Sr.; his mother, JoAnn Marie (Quarter) Stiles; and his brother, Guy Duane Stiles. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Jackson County Sportsman Club. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of Raymond's life and memory. Arrangements with Purse Funeral Home. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
