Raymond H. Treuthart, 83, of Lincoln, was reunited with the love of his life on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Private family burial will be held.
Ray was born December 18, 1941, in Keokuk Iowa, the son of Harold Edward Treuthart and Mildred (Griffith). He married Mary Lou Waitkus on November 16, 1963. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2020. Ray was a life-long Lincoln resident. He owned Treu Body works which he opened in 1982. Ray enjoyed cars, car racing, Nascar, and enjoyed his little dog, Sophie.
Survivors include his children: Ray Dean (Lisa) Treuthart, Kenneth (Lynnette) Treuthart, and Tina Treuthart Garman; his grandchildren: Cyra (Mark) Buttell, Nate (Alexandria) Treuthart, Drew Garman, Kelsey Treuthart, and Trevor Garman; great grandchildren: Carlie, Joey, and Olivia; brother Phillip (Toni) Treuthart; and his faithful canine companion, Sophie. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Lou Treuthart, and his sister Irene Mowl.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
