He was born on November 23, 1946, in Tucumcari, NM to his loving parents Alfonso and Mary Velasquez. Rosary will be Monday, August 21, 2023, at 7:00 PM at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal with Reverend Charles Seiwert officiating. Interment will follow at the Liberal Cemetery in Liberal. Visitation is Monday, August 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
