Raymond Clement Wallace Jr, was born on July 18, 1965, in Camden, NJ to Margaret and the late Raymond C Wallace Sr. On April 7, 2024, Raymond peacefully transitioned at his home. Raymond was educated in the New Haven Public School system and later he achieved his CNA Certification, Raymond was a true humanitarian at heart. In 2004, Raymond and his mother founded Guns Down Books Up. Annually he hosted a back-to-school drive supplying necessities and donating books for students to encourage their success in Education. Ray devoted his entire life giving back to the community by also feeding the elderly, homeless, and the less fortunate. Over the years, Raymond received many awards and accolades for his services. He was previously employed by the program A.L.I.V.E which he serviced the New Haven Public School system. His interest was keeping himself healthy which included running, working out at the gym, cooking, comedy shows, family dinners, cookouts, and spending time with his family. He was a stand-up comedian and never failed to leave a smile behind. He leaves to cherish his memory mother: Margaret Brooks of New Haven, Sons: Raymond Morris, Rayqwain Wallace, Kolbey Wallace, Joshua Wallace all of New Haven, Brandon Johnson of Atlanta GA, George St. John of New Haven, 3 sisters: Catanna Denise Cook of NJ, Hope Howard (Jerome)of New Haven, Kelly McCray (Terry) of Moncks Corner SC, 3 brothers: Kevin Wallace of New Haven, Jeffery Wallace of Pennsylvania, and Joseph Wallace of New Haven,
5 Grandchildren, 2 Aunts: Cora Santiago and Mary Spearman of NJ, and 1 Uncle James McPherson of NJ, 1 Great Niece Kamoni K Kornegay of New Haven and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Raymond also leaves to cherish 1 Special Nephew Jerome Wallace (Jr) of New Haven, 5 Stepchildren Shatoya, Terrance, Justin, Jason and Antoine of New Haven.
