Ray Warlow, 92, of Brookfield, Wisconsin, passed peacefully on November 27, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1932, in Carlisle, England.
At sixteen, he began a five year apprenticeship in crane design as a junior draftsman. He graduated from Grosvenor College in 1953 and married his high school sweetheart, Catherine Mary Dickinson, the same year in Carlisle England.
He moved his family (Cathie, Michael, Kevin and Gavin) in 1964 to take a job as a senior crane designer for Provincial Crane in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. In 1972, Ray accepted a position P&H Harnischfeger working as a supervisor for bridge engineering for the overhead crane division and also bought a house in Brookfield Wisconsin. Ray retired in 1994.
Ray was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He loved British sports cars and travelled to many car shows throughout the United States.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years Cathie (Meyler) Warlow, his sons Michael (Gina) Germantown, Kevin (Sue) South Milwaukee and Gavin (Robin) Brookfield, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as a nephew and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1875 N. Calhoun Rd. Brookfield from 11:00 AM until time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
