Raymond DeSales Washington, III, of Cumberland, died April 2, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born April 14, 1983, in Cumberland, he is the son of Raymond DeSales Washington, Jr. and Kathleen Marie Kennell.
Raymond was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joan "Nana" Kennell and paternal grandparents, Raymond D. Washington, Sr. and Iris Washington.
He had previously worked in Hagerstown as a cook at a local bar and grille.
Raymond belonged to the Cumberland Democrat Club. He enjoyed watching WWE Wrestle Mania. He loved bowling, cornhole, skill pool, and was just learning shuffleboard. Raymond was an avid Redskin fan!
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brittany; children, Zerica Washington, Raymond D. Washington, IV, and Miracle Washington; step-children, Johnathan Meeks, and Liam Trainor; siblings, Desirae Washington, Jaran Neat-Washington, Schylar Neat-Washington, Malique Neat-Washington, Matthew Washington, and Ava Neat-Washington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including nephew Ja'Zai, niece A'Doncyia, niece Breanna Howard "Niecey," and goddaughter Amya Barnes.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 2-3 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene Street, Cumberland, MD 21502.
