Born on December 3, 1983, in Passaic, New Jersey, Raymundo grew up in a vibrant household filled with love and laughter, traits that he carried with him throughout his life. He departed this world in Pageland, South Carolina, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering support for his loved ones.
Raymundo was the cherished son of Raymundo and Juana Pelaez Garcia both of Pageland, SC. He was a beloved brother to Ignacio Pelaez (Sonia) of Patterson, NJ, Yolanda Pelaez and Sonia Pelaez both of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Delia Pelaez (German Castro) of Charlotte, NC and Rosio Pelaez of Pageland, SC. His role as a fun and caring uncle was adored by many nieces and nephews, Melanie Peleaz, Isaac Molina, Jeffrey Molina, Henry Molina, Miley Pelaez, Kaitlyn Molina, Mateo Castro, Axel Pelaez, Melody Pelaez, Andrea Pelaez, Thiago Castro, Evelyn Lemus, Kairo Castro, Jaretssi Castro, and Genesis Lemus.
Raymundo's life was a testament to his faith and the joy he found in simple pleasures. He loved to go out to eat, reveling in the company of family and friends over a good meal. Shopping was another of his favorite pastimes, often seeking out the perfect gifts to brighten the lives of those around him. His passion for dancing was undeniable, especially to the rhythm of Cumbia Sonidera music, which always seemed to lift his spirits and those of everyone around him.
A natural caretaker, Raymundo dedicated much of his time to looking after his parents, ensuring their comfort and happiness. His religious devotion was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and guiding him in his daily actions. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the spirit of service and compassion.
Raymundo's sense of humor was one of his most memorable traits. He loved a good laugh and had an uncanny ability to lighten the mood, no matter the circumstances. His laughter was infectious, and his jokes and playful antics will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Baumgartner Funeral Home. There will be a Funeral of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Baumgartner Funeral Home with Father Javier Heredia officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland.
