Reba Darlene Franklin, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
She is survived by her father, Claude E. Smith; her sister, Angie Williams; and her brother-in-law, Wayne Williams.
Reba was a devoted mother to Jimmy (James) Franklin, Claude Franklin, and Autumn Franklin. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Carson Franklin, Khloe Franklin, Elowen Franklin, Claudia Franklin, and Elijah Franklin--each of whom brought her endless joy and pride.
She is also survived by her nephews: Johnathan James (JJ) Imel and Joshua Imel; and her nieces: Connie Johnston, Regena Morgan, Kelley Recinos, and La Tisha Imel. Her love extended to her great-nieces: Baya Imel, Samantha Imel, Raine Johnston, and Reya Johnston; as well as her great-nephews: Jayden Imel and James Imel.
She is further survived by her daughters-in-law: Sherrie Franklin and Jessica Butler; and by her long-time companion of more than fifteen years, Ricky Joe, whose faithful love and companionship brought her great happiness.
Reba will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and deep love for her family. Her laughter, warmth, and strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Though she has gone from our sight, her love and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A visitation will held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - Noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama. The funeral will immediately follow at Noon with burial to follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
