Reba started one of the first Kindergarten schools in Memphis, Tennessee, at Union Avenue Baptist Church where she met William “Bill” Oscar Lockman, from Memphis, Tennessee, who was working as the printer for the church. They fell in love and were married on August 21, 1965.

Bill and Reba had the privilege of making their home in many different places around the United States and the world for Bill’s work. Bill and Reba lived in Alabama, North Carolina, Kansas, Colorado, Georgia, West Virginia, Australia, and eventually ended up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Over the years, Reba also worked as a designer in the Wedding industry. Reba grew up in the Southern Baptist Church and later attended First Presbyterian Church, and finally First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls. She was a member of the Auxiliary of Gideons International, holding different local and state offices. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and PEO. Reba was a classical musician focusing on mainly the piano. In her younger years, she was an experienced artist who created many paintings with different mediums. She worked with mediums like tin and clay also. Creating and designing has always been part of her life.

Reba enjoyed traveling and visited many places in East Asia, Oceania, Europe, and Africa. She also collected over 300 different and unique Nativities from around the world. Reba has had the opportunity to share and display many of her collections at different times of her life.
