Rebbeca Rhoads Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Affinity All Faiths Mortuary - Wichita on Feb. 10, 2026.
Rebbeca Ogg Rhoads, a beacon of love and spirited kindness, departed this world on February 6, 2026, in Valley Center, Kansas, after a life rich with joy, faith, and unwavering love for her family. Born on September 15, 1955, in Ft Morgan, Colorado, Rebbeca's journey through life was guided by a profound spiritual compass that led her to touch the lives of many with her warmth and generosity. Rebbeca's love story with her husband, Brian, was a testament to true partnership and devotion, a narrative of mutual respect and adoration that will continue to inspire their children, Chrissy Jaso, partnered with Jesse, and Rusty Callahan, with his wife Jen. Her brother Robert Ogg, and his wife Melinda, will remember her as a pillar of strength and a confidante. Rebbeca's professional life as a bookkeeper and accountant at Johnson, Duncan and Hollowell Accounting. In her personal life, Rebbeca's spirituality was the cornerstone of her existence. She navigated life's ebbs and flows with a deep-seated belief in God, drawing strength from her faith to uplift those around her. This spiritual fortitude was evident in her love for her grandchildren, Anabel Jaso and Johnathan Hollis, whom she cherished with every fiber of her being. Her interests reflected the magic she found in life, notably her enchanting collection of Wizard of Oz merchandise. It symbolized not just her love for the classic tale, but also her belief in the power of dreams, courage, and the idea that there's no place like home. Rebbeca's legacy is one of love, spirit, and friendliness. Even as she has moved on from this world, her spirit remains a guiding light to all who knew her. Her passing, preceded by her beloved sister Debbie Williams and brother David Ogg, is not an end but a continuation of her influence, as her virtues live on in the hearts of her loved ones. In remembering Rebbeca, we celebrate a life that exemplified the beauty of the human spirit. Rebbeca Ogg Rhoads will forever be remembered as a woman who walked in faith, loved with all her heart, and lived with a zest that was truly contagious. Her story encourages us to embrace each day with passion, to foster connections with kindness, and to leave an indelible mark of love on the world, just as she did. Memorial services will be Monday February 16. 2026, at 2:00 pm.at Lifepoint Church, 400 S Abilene, Valley Center, Kansas.
