Rebecca Ann Lisa Anderson, lovingly known as "Ricky," passed away unexpectedly at home on August 13, 2025, surrounded by the loyal companionship of his beloved dogs.

Ricky found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandson, Mason. Their time together brought endless smiles and laughter, and their bond was one of his life's brightest lights. Ricky also had a deep love for animals of all kinds-except snakes, which he would avoid at all costs.

He was an avid gardener, taking pride and peace in tending to his garden beds, and cherished quiet moments with his dogs by his side.

Ricky was born on September 8, 1959, to Kenneth Anderson and Nancy (Fayette) Anderson.

On June 21, 1980, Ricky married the love of his life, Susan Blake and they were married for 45 years.

They were proud parents to three children: James, Renee, and Nick.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife, Susan Anderson; his daughter, Renee Smith, and her husband Matthew; grandson, Mason; his son, Nick Anderson and companion, Kailyn Vanvalkenburg; his mother, Nancy Fayette; and his brother, Kevin (Joyce) Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son, James Anderson; his father, Kenneth Anderson; stepfather, Adrian LaMar; sisters Theresa Ihne and Debbie Davis; parents-in-law, Charlotte and Gene Blake; brother-in-law Kevin Blake; and nephew Dale Blake.

Ricky's kind heart, and deep love for his family and animals will be remembered by all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

At Ricky's request there will be no public services.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 518-643-9055.
