Rebecca Brancheau Obituary
A fiercely devoted wife and mother, Rebecca Brancheau desired nothing more than a sturdy roof over her head and a tidy house around her that she could warm and make a home. As a Radiology Technologist for nearly 20 years at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort, Michigan, Rebecca took great pride in her professionalism, efficiency and the relationships she built with those in her care. Rebecca was observant, persistent and curious, and had a passion for problem-solving.
Throughout her life, she wanted nothing more than the love of her friends and family and the respect of her co-workers. Never one for crowds, she preferred the intimacy of the one-on-one company of a close friend or two. She would light up the room with her smile and bring about laughter with her quick wit and humor. She always referred to herself as a 'fragile flower,' but she proved in her end to be brave and stoic. A rock. A hero. An inspiration.
Rebecca is survived by her husband Peter Brancheau, her daughter and jewel of her life Autumn Glaspie, her parents Roxanne (Pfeiffer) and Tim Shatter, and sisters Shannon Testerman and Jaime Sandboothe.
