Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Born on January 2, 1935 in Jasper, GA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Cleo Cantrell Simmons. She was retired from Bell Minor where she was a nursing assistant.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Carroll was preceded in death by her brothers, Troy Lee Simmons, Billy Simmons and Jerry Simmons.
Ms. Carroll is survived by her son and daughter in law, Ricky and Gina Rena Carroll of Lula; granddaughter, Gina Dodd of Lula; great grandson, Raylynn Dodd of Lula; nephews, Timothy Simmons of Gainesville, Matthew Simmons of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
