Beloved wife, Rebecca "Becky" Fiet, went home to be with Jesus peacefully with her husband by her side on November 13, 2025, at the age of forty-six, after a nearly seven-year battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma.
Rebecca was born January 24, 1979, to David and Katheryn Switzer in Portland, OR.
She was predeceased by her mother, Katherine Switzer, and survived by her husband, Kevin Fiet, daughter, Siri White, father, David Switzer, brother, Christopher Switzer, sister, Sarah Pierce, brother-in-law, Joshua Pierce, niece, Alayna Pierce, and nephew, Riley Pierce.
Rebecca was a most beautiful person – inside and out. She consistently put others ahead of herself, even while being tortured by the horrible disease that would finally take her life. She was a wonderful wife and a loving mother. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived and the way she would ultimately pass.
Rebecca worked in several industries, including the medical, title and escrow, and real estate industries, before finding her passion in the beauty industry. In all of these, her light shined as she worked to improve the lives of others.
She would not have wanted her loved ones to grieve (though we certainly will) as she knew that her suffering would turn to unimaginable joy when she went to be with Jesus. We are reminded of this by the apostle Paul's words:
"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." – Phillipians 1:21
It is the family's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Research Foundation.
