Becky Frederic passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at her home in St. Amant, La. She was 84 years old, a native of Gonzales and resident of St. Amant. Visitation will be at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00am until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am. Entombment in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum. Becky retired with over twenty-five years of service from Ascension Parish School Board Food Services as a worker, manager and finally an Area Manager. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Paul “Tony” (Stephanie), Keith “Black” (Melissa), Micheal “Fred” (Monica), Kyle (Leah) Frederic; siblings, Elwood Gautreau (Peggy), and Gene (Noemie) Gautreau; grandchildren, Shaun, Jacob, Julia, Kate, Kyleah, Jon Marc, Keri, Kris, and Trinity; great grandchildren, Jolie, Jonah, and Freya. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Joseph Carey Frederic, granddaughter Chelsea Marie Frederic, parents, Noah and Mamie Lanoux Gautreau, siblings, Ancil Gautreau, Eldon “Butch” Gautreau, her twin Ramona “Mona” Madere, Mary Alice “Tippy” Braud. Becky was a caretaker by nature known for her acts of service and who put family first. She loved gardening, working in the yard, crocheting, cross stitching, and was known best for her cooking. She was a supportive wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was active in her church spending many years teaching, on the prayer line, with Marriage Encounter and volunteering. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Becky’s caregivers Tamra Allen, Jacob Frederic, Mary Moran and the staff of Pinnacle Hospice.
