John H. Evans Funeral Home - MilfordRebecca Fix Jones, 62, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025 at her home in Loveland.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Becky graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a degree in Music Education. She taught music at Summit Country Day School, St. Mary School and taught beginning band at local Catholic schools with The Music Staff. In recent years, she was an assistant band director at Loveland High School. She was the music director at Christ Presbyterian Church for forty years, including leading praise band, handbell choir, and wind ensemble. Becky was an avid lover of theater, she served multiple roles at the Loveland Stage Company on the board and as a producer. She performed in pit orchestras for LSC, the East Side Players, and Footlighters. She was also a dedicated volunteer for the Clermont County Junior Fair, acting as the Junior Fair Dairy Goat Consultant, founder and head advisor of the Country Kids 4-H club, and Adult Staff member at 4-H Camp Graham. Becky will be remembered for her dedication to community, stewardship to nature, and her love of the arts. Her kindness was a gift to everyone who knew her.
Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Patricia Fix, cousin Jennifer Scott. She is survived by her husband Douglas Jones of Loveland, OH, children Isabelle Jones (Drew) of Milford, OH and Theodore Jones of Beavercreek, OH, brother Andrew Fix of Milford, OH and sister Martha Enriquez (Michael) of Batavia, OH, nieces and nephews Katherine Fix, Jeremiah Fix, Olivia Enriquez, Sophia Enriquez, aunt Barbara Scott of Pleasant Plain, OH, cousins Douglas Scott (Jan), Terry Scott, Elizabeth Strauss (Dave), and Cody Strauss (Nick), and her first cousins once removed.
As an avid lover of all animals, she is preceded in death by many beloved pets but most especially her beloved dog Edgar and is survived by her precious dog Louis and his cat Figaro.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th at the Loveland High School, 1 Tiger Trail, Loveland, OH 45140, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service beginning at 1:00 PM in the auditorium. For those planning on attending the service, please be in your seats by 12:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to the Loveland Stage Company, the Loveland High School Marching Band, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral home.
Please consider a donation as requested by the family.
