John H. Evans Funeral Home - MilfordIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolina Moles, a beloved daughter, friend, and devoted family member, who left us peacefully on October 22, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on April 15, 1942, in River Rouge, Michigan, Carolina lived a life rich in love, laughter, and resilience.
A proud steel worker for United States Steel, Carolina forged a path of independence, but her greatest joy came from her family. She cherished her role as a caring matriarch, and her love extended not only to her immediate family but to her extended family and friends as well. Carolina's warmth and quick wit made her a delightful companion, and her great sense of humor brought joy to all who knew her.
After attending Trevecca Nazarene University in Tennessee, where she met her husband, Larry, Carolina and her family ultimately settled in Pittsburgh, PA. There, she actively engaged with her church community, contributing her time to the ladies' groups and bringing her vivacious spirit to every gathering.
Carolina had a passion for life's simple pleasures, whether it was exploring local yard sales or enjoying a meal out with loved ones. She embraced every moment and celebrated her relationships with an open heart and an infectious laugh.
Carolina is survived by her loving children Beth Moles and Stephen Moles, grandchildren, C.J., Adam, Stephanie and Jessica, siblings, Aleeta, Earl, Nancy, Angie, Chris, Lori and Toodie as well as other countless family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at the Michigan Memorial Park, 32163 Huron River Dr., Flat Rock, MI 48134, on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 PM.
Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and we will carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. Carolina will be missed, but her memory will forever shine bright in our lives.
