Rebecca LaPoint Obituary
Rebecca "Becky" Gail LaPoint was born December 11, 1964, to parents Helen Doucet and A.B. Domingue. Becky was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers. She enjoyed watching reality tv. Becky loved all her cats and dogs. She enjoyed taking care of everyone. She was always spunky and was not afraid to speak her mind.
Those left to cherish her memories are loving husband of 41 years Phillip "Bo" LaPoint; mother, Helen Domingue; siblings, Wanda Conner and David Domingue and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those to welcome her into heaven are father, A.B. Domingue; brothers, Bufford "Lee" Domingue and William "Bill" Domingue; niece, Pamela Gail Conner; nephew, Charles Joshua Domingue; father-in-law, Eugene LaPoint; mother-in-law, Mildred LaPoint.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. EJ McCann will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday June 25,2024, at 4:00 PM until 8:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home, in Lake Charles. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at 9:00AM until the start of the service.
The family would like to express special thanks to Monica Holland, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Heart of Hospice, and everyone that works at South Side Machine Works.
