Rebecca “Becky” Lou Lasley, 83, passed away on November 4, 2025. Born on October 30, 1942, in Houston, Texas, she dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 61 years, Charles, and their beloved daughter, Cheryl.
Becky cherished her role as an Air Force wife, enjoying military life and the friendships built. Above all, she found her greatest joy in being a mother and, later, a grandmother — roles that brought her immense pride and fulfillment. Her heart’s deepest desire was to lovingly care for her husband, in both sickness and in health, and she did so with grace and devotion throughout their life together. She instilled strong values and steadfast faith in her family, finding great joy in attending women’s bible study and church.
Becky is survived by her daughter Cheryl Pinkston, son-in-law Sky Pinkston, and grandson Cody Pinkston, along with her brother Randall Stewart and sister Sharon Stewart Owens and Kathryn Stewart Torres. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edgar Lasley and her parents R.I. and Delores Stewart.
A memorial service will be held on November 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home, 2079 State Hwy 71, Bastrop, TX 78602.
Flowers are appreciated; however, donations to Feed the Need at feedtheneed.org would also be a meaningful way to honor her memory.
