Becky was born in St. John, Michigan and was raised on Pontiac Lake. She went to Waterford Kettering High School and Eastern Michigan University. She spent her entire career as an elementary school teacher in the Waterford School District, primarily at Riverside Elementary.

She married Nicholas Villarreal in August, 1976 and enjoyed 43 years of marriage until he died in 2019. They enjoyed going on many hot rod runs in cars that Nick built. She also helped her brothers, Pete and Tim, at the race track when they raced their cars.

Becky loved being a teacher and she also liked to garden and travelling. Most of all she loved being the favorite "aunt" not only to her many nieces and nephews but also to neighborhood children. In retirement she volunteered at the Waterford Township Historical Society.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Rick and Jean, and her husband, Nick and brother, Pete.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 11, 2025 at Oakland County Sportsman Club, 4770 Waterford Road, Clarkston from 2 pm - 5 pm. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of cards and flowers, donations can be made in Becky's name to the Waterford Township Historical Society, PO Box 300491 Waterford, MI 48330-0491.
