Rebecca Terri Phillips

Rebecca Terri Phillips age 56 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born on April 1, 1969 to the late Otis Kennedy and Beatrice (Helton) Kennedy. In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her son, Travis Denver Phillips; and sisters, Rita Garner, Pam Garland, Sue Jones, Brenda Kennedy, Denise Bowman, Carol Procter, and Debbie Conrad.

Surviving family include her husband, Marty Phillips; sons, Denny Dwayne Phillips (and Allyssa) and Lucas Tyler Phillips (and Kristianna); daughters, Casey Ellissa Phillips, Allison Grace Phillips, and Kylie Gene Cordell; grandchildren, Jarred, Gavin, Trevor, Levi, Mallory, Peyton, Samuel, Jayden, Serenna, and Delois; and great-grandchildren, Wrenley and two on the way, Gunner and Lakelynn.

Also surviving are her brothers, John Kennedy (and Alicia), Andy Kennedy (and Vickie), Mike Kennedy (and Janice) and Wayne Kennedy; sisters, Janice Bell (and David Ball), Sharon Schoffner, Shelby Davis, and Elaine Tucker; and a host of nieces and nephews who called her "mamaw". 

Becky was a member of the Cedar Grove United Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, going camping and fishing, and spending time with her family. Becky was a caretaker, not only by trade, but by heart. Her biggest joy in life was her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Terry West officiating. Burial to follow in the Corder Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
