Rebecca Anaya Rios, known affectionately to friends and family as Becky, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with sarcoma.
Born on December 9, 1951, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Becky was the heart of her family. She met the love of her life, Billy Rios, in junior high school, and was married for 53 years. Billy took great honor in caring for her during her battle as well as her sisters, Marylee Casas and Dora Wilder. She devoted her life to raising her two children, Rebecca Solis (Ryan Solis) and Billy Rios, Jr (Grace Rios), and grandchildren, Tyler, Asa, Helena, and Lily.
Becky was a family woman. Her dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren, and the close-knit community she was a part of, was the cornerstone of her existence.
At her request, there will be no funeral as the family will privately lay her to rest.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Driscoll Children's Hospital at https://driscollchildrens.org/give-help/give/planned-giving/tributes-and-memorials/.

My condolences to Becky´s Family! Becky was my friend in Junior High and High School. She was blessed to fall in love with Billy from such a young age! Becky remained my friend after high school! I still have memories of going to her baby shower and our kids playing together before life took us in different directions! She shared she mostly had to raise the kids because Billy would always have to keep busy reading medical journals to keep up with his medical knowledge! Becky had a sister that worked with an airlines and travelled all over the world but Becky told me she didn´t like flying! I can´t help but smile right now as I think of the memories I have of Becky and Billy! I am saddened at your loss but happy you are in paradise with God, the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and all the angels and saints! We will meet again one day! You and your beautiful family will be in my prayers!

My condolences to Billy& Becky´s family. Becky & I were in 2nd-4th grade
together. My family moved N to my surprise in 7th grade we reconnected! She met Billy n it was true love from the start!
Our friendship continued thru high school, both joined the Hi-Fairnesses girls club. We had so much fun! I was honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids, at my wedding.
She was a dear friend and wish we could´ve lived in the same city n continued the memories. I will always remember her laugh and that certain look she had when I saw her happy!! Becky, may you be joined in heaven with those you loved and gone before you

My dearest friend, Becky. You shared so many 1sts with me unselfishly.

We went to see a James Bond movie together because that was Billy's favorite actor.

You shared Rebecca's Buc Days Coronation with us. BTW, the one and only time we went but very special to us.

We shared some time in Las Vegas and you & Billy entertained my son,Sean, while we played the slots.

I was honored to have gone with Mary Lee, her daughter and your mom to see Enrique Iglesias .
A special trip to see Cher....all the while on the road trip singing "do you breve in love after life....

I couldn't believe the road trip to Houston that you drove us to and you asked me to share a room with you. Thank you for not admitting that you probably heard me snore!
I swear, I didn't sleep much that night because I DIDNT WANT to snore.

I wish I had known that you were ill so that I could've visited & comforted you but I understood the private and family person you were.

I will never forget your kindness

Love you and Billy like family.
