Rebecca Ruelas Silva

Rebecca Ruelas Silva, loving mother, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away surrounded by her family on September 22, 2025, in Visalia, CA. She was born on November 06, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, to Andres Ruelas and Estela Pimienta Ruelas. In 1972, Rebecca moved to Dinuba, California with her parents, sister, and seven brothers. She later graduated from Dinuba High School in 1980.

Rebecca started her career out as a Dental Assistant. She later moved to Hanford, dedicating herself in helping and guiding her children and the children of the Hanford School District. Rebecca retired from the school district after, more than, 20 years of dedication. She was well loved by the children and staff at Hamilton Elementary School.

Rebecca was known for her kind soul, thoughtfulness, compassion, and considerate words. She was a faithful Catholic who always tried to find the best in everyone. She loved and cared deeply for her big family; always being a kindhearted daughter, sister, and aunt. Rebecca took pride in being a mother and grandma. She loved spending time with her daughter and sons; and spoiling her grandchildren. She was known for her generous patience as a friend; being there in their time of need.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her father Andres, niece Magdalena, brother-in-law Ernesto, and her son-in-law Salvador.

Rebecca is survived by her children Virginia, Martin, and Michael; granddaughters Ilianna, Nayeli, Jenny, and grandson Aziel; Mother Estela, sisters Delia, Carmen, Estela; brothers Leopoldo, Andres Jr, William (Doreen), Adrian (Guillermina), Mathias (Clarinda), Miguel, Juan (Denise), Celso, and Rafael. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, their spouses, great nephews and great nieces. Rebecca leaves behind her boyfriend Frank Villanueva, stepson Mathew (Eva); grandchildren Leila and Havana.

Visitation for Rebecca will be on Thursday, October 09, 2025, from 1:30pm-3pm with a Rosary following at 3pm-4pm at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Church, 870 N. Lemoore Ave; Lemoore, CA. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:30am, also at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Church. Burial will follow at 1pm at the Hanford Cemetery, 10500 S. 10th Ave; Hanford, CA.
