Rebecca "Becky" Louise Spears, age 81, of Saline, Michigan, passed away in her home on Sunday, January 11, 2026 with her family nearby. Becky was born February 20, 1944 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late Ralph M. Ward and Ruth M. (Nadeau) Ward. On July 25, 1964 she married Earl E. Spears. She is survived by Earl, her husband of 61 years; two daughters, Sherry Spears of Ann Arbor and Brenda (Daniel Mania) Spears-Mania of Saline; four grandchildren, Corey (Anna) Hammond, Sommer (Carlos Hurtado-Roman) Hurtado, Zachary Sarmento, and Ashley Mania; one great-grandchild, Oliver Hammond; and many nieces and nephews. Becky was preceded in death by her siblings Phylis (Ward) Jaycox, Lloyd Ward, Dwight Ward, and Carolyn (Ward) Kukulka.
Becky was a homemaker who enjoyed action movies and spending time with friends and family. She adored children, especially babies, and loved spoiling her grandchildren. Becky was known for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh.
Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. Funeral Services will take place at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Cullen L. Worthem Sr. officiating. Following the service, burial will take place in the Washtenong Memorial Park Cemetery in Ann Arbor, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
