Recia Rachelle Lahodny

Recia R. Lahodny passed away March 13, 2025. She was born January 15, 1966, to LeRoy and Joyce (Arntt) Lahodny.
Recia graduated from Odell High School with the class of 1984, and later from Peru State College. She was employed at B&W Electric in Hanover, KS until her death. She loved her job, employer and co-workers. She always wanted to get on the job early and have everything ready for the day.
Recia is survived by her daughter Hollie, granddaughter Ayla, mother Joyce of Diller, brothers Rod (Diane) of Des Moines, IA, Rick (Ludinia) of Oklahoma City, OK, nieces Emma and Sydney, nephews Lake and Landon, aunts Janice Pfingsten of Fairbury, Lila Penner of Odell, uncles Roger (Sammie) Lahodny of Belleville, KS, Elville Arntt of Steele City and Melvin Arntt of Palmer, NE and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father LeRoy, grandparents Henry and Anna Lahodny, Herman and Mildred Arntt, uncles Delbert Pfingsten, Virgil Lahodny, Elmer Hamilton, Gerald Penner, aunts Diane Hamilton, Sharon Scheele, Judy Arntt and cousin Kent Pfingsten.
Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at a later date. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
