It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reece Jamison Hollis, who left this world much too soon on October 31, 2025, at the age of 25. Born on November 4, 1999, in Atlanta, Georgia, Reece was a beloved son, brother, and friend, known for his kind heart and vibrant spirit. He resided in Cumming, Georgia, where he built a life filled with passions and connections that touched the lives of all who knew him.Reece had a warm personality and friendly demeanor that endeared him to his friends and family alike-he was a person who truly never met a stranger. Those who crossed paths with Reece experienced his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand.Reece is survived by his loving mother, Renee (Mark Atkins) Hollis; his father, Jamey (Lindsay) Hollis; his brothers, Jacob Hollis and Hudson Nickerson; his sister, Jaxon Hollis; and his grandparents, Danny and Ethelene Ensley and Ann Hollis. Reece's family will remember him for his unwavering loyalty, sweet nature, and the immense love that will forever echo in their hearts.Reece is preceded in death by his grandfather, Marshall Hollis.
Reece had a passion for life that was evident through his love of music and his enthusiasm for football. He possessed the rare ability to brighten the lives of those around him, and his infectious spirit brought joy to gatherings with friends and family.His sudden departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of many. Reece will be forever loved and missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Reece will be laid to rest with a private service at Chastain Memorial Park in Blue Ridge, GA.
A Celebration of life will be held on November 15 at the Green Summers Soccer Pavilion in Cumming, Georgia. (4355 Morning Mist Lane Cumming GA) between 12 noon - 3:00 PM.
