Reeda McGhan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - Maitland Chapel on Jun. 9, 2025.
Mrs. Reeda McGhan (Woolfork) died unexpectedly at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida at the age of 65.
Reeda is survived by her daughter Rena Ciceron of Riverview, Florida and her sons Richard Forrest of Orlando, Florida and Phillip Forrest of Los Angeles, California. She is also survived by her grandchildren Isaiah Moore, Malachi Moore and Anniyah Ciceron as well as her sister Stella McCleod and brother, Ken Woolfork.
Reeda was born on July 24, 1959 in Orlando, Florida to Roosevelt and Maggie Woolfork. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School. After serving several honorable years in the United States Navy in San Diego, California, she left the service and upon moving back to Orlando, Florida married Gerald Moore in 1985.
In 1992 she began working for the City of Orlando in the Waste Management Division. During her time there she performed several roles, ultimately becoming an administrator. However, she was most proud of her role as a union steward where she was involved in assisting co-workers with grievances and negotiating contracts.
Her Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 22, 2025 at the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory at 9001 North Orlando Avenue in Maitland, Florida. Mrs. Rhonda Chappelle will officiate the ceremony. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Flowers and condolences may be sent to DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory for June 22, 2025.
