Reena Susan Fields, 69, of Croton on Hudson, New York passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of life service will take place at Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester on Tuesday, April 15 at 9:00am, followed by a burial at Sharon Gardens.
Reena was a devoted wife, mother, Gammie, sister, aunt and dear friend. She was born in New York City on September 7, 1955, to Jerome and Lillian Katz, graduated from Seward Park High School and Brooklyn College, and for the past 43 years, worked alongside her husband, Barry Fields D.P.M. as his office manager. In her spare time she enjoyed walking by the Croton Dam, playing mahjong, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Barry Fields, daughter and son-in-law Jaime and Michael Friedman, son and daughter-in-law David and Taylor Fields, her four grandchildren Gabriel, Linden, Sage, and Samson, and her siblings, Morty and Annie Katz, Gail and Dennis Andes, and Susan and Ben Geller.
Donations in Reena's honor can be made to Northern Westchester Hospital Center or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
