Michael Joseph Kelleher

Michael Joseph Kelleher, age 56, of Haverhill, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 after a 26 year courageous battle against Glioblastoma.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 20, 1969, the son of the late Kenneth and Rose Marilyn (Cameron) Kelleher.
Michael was a graduate of Midwood High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He later earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College in 2004.
He was a true and faithful Brother of the Merrimac, and later the John Handcock, Lodge. He was raised in 2008 and later also continued with the Scottish Rite.
Michael was passionate about trivia, especially music, television, movies, and sports. A lifelong sports fan, he maintained unwavering loyalty to his beloved Minnesota Vikings and New York Mets.
He earned the nickname the Bald Avenger after running into a burning apartment building while waiting for the FDNY to arrive, helping people to escape all the while he was in the middle of a course of chemotherapy.
Michael is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura (Spence) Kelleher, and their son, Cameron E.S. Kelleher, both of Haverhill. He is also survived by his brothers, Ken Kelleher and his wife, Diane Lawler, of Farmingdale, New York, and James Kelleher of East Patchogue, New York; his brother-in-law, Jimmy Madden; his nephew, Brendan Madden; his nieces, Janine (Keating) Panker and her husband, Michael Panker, and Jacqueline Madden; as well as his grandnieces and grandnephew, Abby, Emma, Maddie, and Ben Panker. He is additionally survived by his mother-in-law, Marcia Spence.
He was predeceased by his sister, Mary (Keating) Madden; his aunt, Margaret Dolores Cameron; and his father-in-law, Chester E. Spence.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main Street, Bradford, Massachusetts. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main Street, Bradford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.
