Regina (Reggie) Marie Banaszak, 96, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on November 11, 2025. She will be remembered for her deep faith, love of family and friends, and her unwavering commitment to living a life of prayer, kindness, and charity. Daily prayer, the rosary, and attending Mass were central to her life.

Reggie married the love of her life, Merle, in 1951, and in 1952 began her journey as the wife of an Air Force officer. This calling took her across North Africa, Europe, the Philippines, and throughout the United States. Along the way, she raised four children, embraced new cultures, and formed lifelong friendships while navigating the unique adventures and expectations of military life.

Reggie will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, outgoing personality, and impeccable sense of style. She cultivated many genuine friendships through shopping trips to "Vero," playing tennis and bridge, participating in prayer groups, and social gatherings at "the club." She also created countless cherished "Nana" memories for her grandchildren-tennis lessons, plush beanie babies, board games, dinners out, and sunny days at the beach.

Reggie's love for her husband and family was evident in her constant prayers, affection, and joyful presence.

She is survived by her children, Merle E. (Mercedes) Banaszak Jr., Janet B. Coxe, Susan (William) Borgiasz, William Banaszak; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Merle E. Banaszak and son-in-law, Robert L. Coxe.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on December 9th, 2025, at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 5655 Stadium Parkway, Melbourne, FL 32940.
