With a twinkle in her eye and a sharp wit that could outpace the best, Regina Rose Bouchard, or Regi as she was affectionately known, found her rest on May 5, 2024. Born to the late John and Josephine Moryl on July 11, 1945, in the city of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Regi lived a lively and fulfilling life that was as spirited as her personality.

Regi was a smart cookie and a loving matriarch; known for her thoughtful nature and compassionate heart. She was a devoted mother to her children: Gene and his wife Annette, Robert and his wife Kimberley, Michelle and her partner Michael, and Tracey and her husband Alphonse. Regi was a loving grandmother to Joshua and his partner Lydia, Katherine and her partner Jacob, Timothy and his wife Sydney, Emily, Anthony, James, and Aubriella. Regi is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Regi’s love extended beyond her immediate family, reaching out to all living creatures, big and small. She had a special place in her heart for cats and wildlife, her garden was a testament to her green thumb, and the beach was her sanctuary.

Regi’s career as a residential counselor in healthcare was a testament to her caring nature. In her spare time, she loved to sew and cook, and she was an avid reader, a NASCAR enthusiast, and a crossword puzzle aficionado. Her spirited personality combined with her vast range of hobbies made her a force to be reckoned with. As Helen Keller once said, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” And Regi lived it as an adventure, filled with love, laughter, and a fair share of mischief.

Regi was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Josephine Moryl, and her siblings Frank Moryl and his wife Elizabeth, Mary (Moryl) Sowerbutts and her husband William, and John (Jack) Moryl and his wife Sharon.

Funeral Services are private. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Regi on her memorial page: in these shared moments may we celebrate the life of a truly wonderful woman.
