Regina “Jeanne” Hepp, 82, of East Windsor, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Princeton Medical Center of Plainsboro, NJ. Jeanne was born in Philadelphia September 11, 1942, and was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. Jeanne married Joseph Hepp on August 29, 1964 and had 2 children Gina and Joseph. They celebrated over 60 years of wedded bliss, most of it in their current home of East Windsor, NJ.
Jeanne was a gifted singer with a beautiful voice and a woman of tremendous faith. She was a devout Catholic and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Anthony of Padua in Hightstown and later at her current parish St. John the Baptist in Allentown.
Jeanne was employed most of her professional career at Gallup Inc. where she received numerous awards and commendations. She eventually became known as the “Voice of Gallup” because the founder, George Gallup said he could “hear the smile in her voice” every time she answered the phone. Jeanne formally retired from Gallup after over 40 years of dedicated service.
She loved every opportunity to bring the family together as they were the center of Jeanne’s world. Jeanne particularly enjoyed visiting Stone Harbor NJ as a child with her younger sister Barbara. When she started a family of her own, she started an annual tradition of traveling to Stone Harbor, NJ every summer. Every year she would locate a new house to rent and choose a theme, complete with specially designed T-shirts and an annual talent show in which all invited family members and close friends were expected to participate.
Jeanne loved celebrating the holidays with her family. She especially enjoyed hosting Christmas. She would decorate their entire home, including more recently adorning the tree with a new annual ornament for each grandchild. She and Joseph would host the big family Christmas dinner for their children, their spouses, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and plenty of gifts and food for everyone.
Her grandchildren were the great joys of her life, and she would never miss an opportunity to show them how cherished they were by trying to attend every birthday, holiday, graduation, 1st communion, college move-in or other event. If she were unable to be there, she would send elaborate care packages for holiday, birthday or other celebrations no matter the occasion or the distance.
Daughter of the late Francis and Regina Eleanor (Finnegan) Boyle, Jeanne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph L. Hepp; her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Javier Ancalmo, her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph L. and Liesl Hepp; her beloved grandchildren, Nicolas, Flora, Julianna, Joseph Luke, Natalie Jeanne, and Eleanor; her sister, Barbara Boyle Kelley Peek; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Grau Berg, Mary Beth Hepp, and Judith Ann Cameron as well as many nieces and nephews.
