Regina Medart, age 50, of Leander, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date.
Regina Raye Medart was born on July 1, 1973, in Gatesville, Texas to Otis Ronald Medart and Glennyth Herrman Medart. Regina spent her early years growing up in the Pearl community and attended all 12 years of school in Evant. She graduated in 1991. She went on to attend Tarleton State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. She later attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and received a Master of Arts degree with a major in Professional Counseling. Regina became a licensed professional counselor with her office in Austin, Texas.
Regina loved all kinds of music and she loved the pets she had over the years. She attended church services in the Austin area.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Otha and Imo Medart and Glenn and Laveail Herrman; uncle, Roger Medart and aunt, Joan Medart Blanchard.
Regina is survived by her parents, Ronald and Glennyth Medart; brothers, Barry Lynn Medart and wife, Elizabeth, and Kyle Von Medart; niece, Frances Medart Casanover and son, Logan, and aunt, Kay Pruett.
