Vivian Lorene Medart
Age 97, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born June 21, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Herbert Lewis and Eva Lena (Mensinger) Suttle.
Vivian was known as "Grandma" to everyone. She was very active in numerous art and crafts including painting and needle craft. She was also a "Rock Hound" she loved to search for various rocks and minerals. She loved to travel and had explored all of the National Parks. She was always behind the camera taking photographs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Erwin Benny Medart, one sister Rebecca Emily Robinson, and one son-in-law Gary Shepard.
Survivors include four children Sharon Marie Shepard, Larry Erwin Medart and his wife Deborah, Debora Lynn Corley and her husband David, Lorren Hallmark and his wife Charlotte; seven grandchildren Tim Shepard and his partner Ashley, Daniel Shepard, Laura Johnson and her husband Cody, Jarod Medart and his wife Carolyn, Justin Medart and his wife Brittney, Heather Swingle and her husband David and Shannon Eaglin; sixteen great grandchildren Karsyn, Graycin, Baylee and Jairus Shepard, Lilly and Fisher Johnson, Aven, Molly, and Rosie Medart, Damien and Delilah Swingle, Cooper, Connor, and Colton Jones, Kruze and Quinn "Q" Eaglin.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 31st, 2025, at Friendship Cemetery in West Fork, Arkansas.
