Reginald Ihm Obituary
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, January 2nd from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Reg was born June 14, 1957 to Leonard "Lenny" & Janis (Jerrett) Ihm. He attended IMC-Kieler School and was a graduate from Southwestern High School. He grew up in the Kieler Boy Scouts, earning many badges and honors through his service, and also helped his dad and grandfather at the Kieler Garage. Reg worked many years in law enforcement, having worked for the Hazel Green Police Dept., Grant County Sheriff's Dept. and at UW-Platteville's Police Dept. Reg will be best remembered as a jovial soul, who loved a good laugh with friends and liked to get the last word in.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, old western movies, the comedic classics like, The 3 Stooges, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Reg is survived by 2 sons: Ryan & Loren Ihm; his mother, Janis; a grandson, Odin Ihm; 4 sisters: Carla Kinsella, Krista Ihm, Rhonda (Dave) Groom & Shelly Ewers; 2 brothers: Rick Ihm & Craig (Karen) Ihm; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Reginald "Reggie" E. Ihm Memorial Fund has been established.
