Reginald was a star pupil, graduating from Shortridge High School in 1971 and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Family Services from Indiana University. While attending Indiana University, Reginald joined the brotherhood of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and was a founding member of the IU Soul Revue- America’s first and finest collegiate Black popular music ensemble. After receiving his degree, Reginald went on to work in various fields of service.
In his leisure time, Reginald enjoyed spending time with family, lifelong friends, and giving praise and worship to the Lord. A true musically gifted vocalist, Reginald graced those around him with his God-given talent of singing. He was known as being an exceptional storyteller and an eloquent writer.
Reginald was preceded in death by his stepfather, John W. Talley; two stepbrothers, George W. Talley, and William S. “Billy” Talley, and three sisters; Norma Talley Leavell, Carolyn Green, and Marcia Lake.
He was survived by his sisters; Sheila Drake, Paula Mason Brentz, and Donna Mason; brothers; Kyle Mason, Tracy Talley, Gregory Talley, Keith Talley, James Talley, John C. Talley, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Homegoing service: Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation at 1:30 PM and Service at 2:00 PM.
