Sergeant Reginald Miller grew up in Waukegan, Illinois. He graduated from Waukegan High School and later attended Holmes College in Mississippi and Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio. While living in Ohio, he joined the United States Army, giving him the opportunity to serve his country in several states, and Germany. The military was his passion.
Sergeant Miller enjoyed fishing, hunting, and outer space movies, especially Star Trek.
Sergeant Miller is survived by his mother, Shirley Miller; his sister, Regina Caracter; his nephew, Christopher Caracter; his aunts Bobbie Nell Miller and Catherine (Cat) Miller Hemmitt; his great aunt, Oliver Bell Miller, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and extremely loyal and special military friends; Michael Coleman Sr., Russell Ragin III, and Jackie Robinson-Tiller.
He is preceded in death by Velma Miller Dobbs, Harvey Dobbs, Nelson Miller, John Bennie Miller, Theodosia Miller, Melson Miller Jr, Lou Agnes Miller, Willie Earl Miller, Dorothy Miller Sanding, and Sally Safarty
