Reginald Russell Parnell of Necaise Crossing, Mississippi died peacefully in Gulfport on December 7, 2023 at the age of 65.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Dambrino Parnell and Reginal A. Parnell, as well as his beloved dog Spike. Russell is survived by his brother, Tommy Wayne Parnell of Texas and sister, Regina Mathison of Georgia.
He was a college graduate and former surveyor with Moran, Seymour Engineering in Biloxi. Russell loved hunting and being outdoors and was almost always dressed in camouflage. Russell’s dream was a small home in the middle of a large forest.
A graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport at 2pm Tuesday December 12, 2023.

Russell is finally at peace in the forest of heaven with his dog by his side. Russell will be missed.
