Reinaldo Cruz Obituary
Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, he lived in Perth Amboy most of his life and was an election booth worker. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by mother, Luisa Figueroa and father, Juan Isabel Cruz and his son, Reinaldo Cruz Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Mendez) Cruz, his children, Evelyn Carofilis, Eda Mavel Duran, Miguel Angel Cruz, Ruben Cruz, Edgar Cruz, Jeannette Barella and Maria Estelle Figueroa. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley Duran Fioravanti, Dalton Christopher Carofilis, Dr. Nicholas A. Carofilis, Tiffany Duran Agostini, Jonathan Carofilis, Rocco Duran, Sebastian Cruz, Alyssa Barella, Sabrina Barella, Edgar R. Cruz, Hector Soler, Maria Soler many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
We will begin to leave on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 9:30 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home 419 Barclay Street Perth Amboy for a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima at 10 am. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery.
Visiting is on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the funeral home.
